Hanon Shop has once again teamed up with New Balance for some really exciting products. The collaboration will bear the name ‘Northern Sole’, inspired by the Northern Soul scene that flourished in English club venues. Such venues were the Wigan Casino and the Torch club in the 60’s and 70’s.
Our roll out will start on the 28th of April and will consist of one edition of Northern Sole trainers, 1 x club badge set and a Brian Sweeney portrait limited edition postcard as featured in the campaign. The postcards will be hand numbered and unique to each edition. There will be a total of 4 models released each in a strict edition of 120 pairs.

If you are a fan of Nike running shoes, then you really can’t miss these. The Air Rift Plus was first released in 1996 and was inspired by the Japanese socks called Tabi. It has been 10 years now, and Nike has recently released this special colorway with an embroidered ‘10’ on the heel to commemorate the anniversary.

Check out the latest collaboration between the denim label Red Monkey Company (a.k.a. RMC) and Lotto. From far they look like very simple sneakers, but up close you can really catch the careful detail of the signature designs of the Red Monkey label. A definite keeper for fans of both brands.

Last year, Jor One dropped a pair of Air Jordan XIIIs with his filthy splat design, and blew the lid off the custom Jordan game. His Jordan XIII’s sold out in seconds and were also bootlegged in Asia. Jor One’s back again with the same filthy paint job, but this time on some Jordan XIVs. A very special adidas adicolor installation took over the colette windows in paris this week.
Featured in our left window: each day we unveiled a new design from the adicolor Consortium series (1000 pairs produced worldwide with a retail launch scheduled for april 1st) including an exclusive animation by french artist Claude Closky for Colette. Seven colours were represented with their very own ipod which screened short films created by various directors according to the designated colour.
Featured in our right window: further collaborations from adicolor and assorted projects created by winners of the Mixte magazine contest (customized designs with winners being awarded a pair of white adicolor trainers packaged in a wooden box).
The adicolor theme continues in-store at colette amid our first floor streetwear space as clients are encouraged to customize their own adicolor shoes upon the colette walls.
