Anyone can put a picture on a tshirt or have type over a picture as well..set yourself apart from everyone else. theres no design process, creativity or logical thinking to this..if it was this easy everyone would do it. have a point to your line. make your logo the focal point..enhance it..strong enough so that it can stand alone without any other elements added to it. hopefully this helps and take it as helpful advice..no need to hate on my part just looking to help.

Hey guys, we're getting ready to drop our first line this spring! Very excited.

Get a different picture or pose or model if you want people on here to be interested in your stuff.
Also, different outfits. The one you have up right now screams to me "CAWP DEEZ SWAG SHIRTS WIT OUR FRESH JAYZ"

tl;dr,
Different background picture. Good choice of font and logo.
great typography, it goes well with the flow of the fin of the whale..perhaps you guys can clean up the whale a bit more..the back make it more smooth..the eye a bit bigger..it looks just like a dot in the middle of a shape..possible add some depth and details to differentiate different body parts of the whale.. the leaf is so small it seems non existent or looks like you threw it in there at the last second..the leaf is as important as the whale if it going to be apart of the main logo you are using. You can incorporate the leaf inside the whale..scale it up bigger to where its a knockout against the whale and then people will understand where the word fresh comes into play..hope all works well in the future!

Hey guys,
I'd like to introduce my brand: Critically Acclaimed

If you like what you see give us a like on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/CriticallyAcclaimedClothing
You can also check out our website to pick up anything (we ship worldwide) - http://www.criticallyacclaimed.co.uk/
dope patern but not understanding the logo or the elements of the logo..the 2 needles making an X..from the looks of it..it looks like your a sewing company..peoples attention span these days only last 3 second 5 the most..within that time you have to grab there attention and keep it for them to stay interested..the arched words have been done millions of times..it usually works when theres an element too sit on or wrap around but the needles are so thin that theres nothing supporting the the most important thing..the name..hope this helps.

Most shit is looking good!

What are the best blank tee's?
Something like Diamond Supply and Bape? Thick good t-shirts.
I hope somebody could help me!
thanks
the brand every tshirt line uses these days are AAA..diamond for sure..neff..7th letter sometimes obey..since they have money they buy grade A quality which is the best..excluding RVCA and some of Volcom they use a try-blend usually from spectra..super soft but all depends what demographic your aiming towards.
Jan 31, 2013 @ 11:22
Thanks for the feedback...Yes, you can check us out at www.artcoreclothing.com
Your prices are pretty steep for such a simple shirt.
nice detail as of the A goes but anyone and i mean anyone can make a pocket tee..no that hard to pick up fabric and sewed onto a shirt..set yourself apart from the rest..make a pattern with the A you have there..screenprint onto blank white or any color fabric and then have that made into a pocket..the value goes up the meaning..instead of it just looking like trying to collect some easy money..like i said set yourself apart..and whoever said it had to be on the left side of the shirt..start a new trend..be different..take a risk
Jan 31, 2013 @ 11:32
its never a good idea to base a clothing brand off a rap line or a cool quote. Like "swag" "yolo" "cocaine and caviar"... those are temporary slurs that people eventually get tired of... your brand will eventually die off like those popular slurs will... good luck tho'

ps. have you even ever done cocaine?
ever heard of crooks and castles?im sure u have be you not them.

I think its an Elephant man but I agree the eye needs to be a little bit bigger but I like its simplicity

@jaemznugyen I agree, I have scheduled to get some professional lifestyle shots done. My photographer has been away for a couple months so I tried to make due but luckily they are available. So I will have some good shots before the release because I definitely don't want to give that "CAWP DEEZ SWAG SHIRTS WIT OUR FRESH JAYZ" type of vibe haha. Not what we are going for at all.

@cmpndist Thanks! Yeah its an elephant blushing

@casein_point Thank you, I will try playing around with the eye and see if I like it bigger. I was curious how other people would perceive the logo. When I designed it, to me its obvious it's and elephant holding a leaf, but sometimes when you get deep in a project it can be hard to step back and see what other people might see.

Thanks for all the feedback!

Oh I agree blushing I take every comment, compliment, insult, criticism etc. with a grain of salt. The brand will always ring true to who I am but I will always listen to an outsiders opinion.

Things that make people take your "basementbrand" as a joke:
- Any of the words "Swag", "Fresh" or "Kush" in it.
- Ripping of famous logos and implementing your cheap ass logo on it.
- Doing the exact same shit as everyone else for some quick cash.

Hello Hypebeast Forum readers,
I have enjoyed reading for some time now. I would like to make a small contribution to the forum "Starting a New Line/Brand Feedback Thread". I recently had some t-shirts printed for my soon to be face kerchief brand and was very impressed with the quality all around. The t-shirt brand is called "Cotton Heritage" http://www.cottonheritage.com/
If you are having a hard time finding a good t-shirt or sweater these guys are top notch and great people as well. Here is a couple shirts I put up on my ETSY store where you can purchase http://www.etsy.com/shop/Cilmera?ref=shop_sugg
