if you played RE4 you'll like it. if you've never played resident evil before and expect gears of war or some other kind of run and gun shooter, walk away. you can't move while shooting. i feel it adds a lot of tension to the game and adds a bit of balance considering you're fighting the undead who walk at 2 mph

what doesn't seem natural? i admit the addition of maybe a run and blindfire would be cool but it would probably ruin the pacing of the game. it's supposed to be intense. plus if they did add that everyone would be like "dude this is so stupid, there's not enough bullets"

and how is that hypocritical?

I haven't played an RE game in a few years, but I have to say once I relearned ps3 controls (been on my 360), RE5 has been a great gaming experience. Really fluid game play, feels like your playing thru a movie. very cool imo. I'm a fan.

THIS IS NOT A FIRST PERSON SHOOTER, THIS IS RESIDENT EVIL.

Has anybody even played Resident Evil before this?! They make it like that because this is a SURVIVAL HORROR GAME, not FPS. Sure, even Silent Hill lets you do that, but all Survival Horror games have their own element of gameplay, where as SH's element is the changing of reality to hell.

Im still going through it the second time on veteran, maxing out the weapons and getting the infinite ammo and the super weapons.

Yea after Nemesis it stopped... As good as the remake was it just wasn't as scary and it kinda felt more action driven... Its still a good game its just lost its supsense factor hella...

When the controller is OLD, you can't run and shoot, reloading gun takes toooo long, your co-player(machine) is very stupid. It's mos def fucking up the game experience a bit, but it's the only negatives though..

the gun is MEANT to take a long time

u can upgrade the re-load speeds of the weapon

its meant to create tension when u r trying to re-load and u have some crazy infected dude running at u

Just got the demo a few days ago and played it a shitload. Definitely getting this.
Standing and shooting doesn't bother me at all. Its the standing and slashing that bugs me. Who the fuck would ever only stand still with a knife while some crazy african guys are trying to fuck you with spades and shit. Then when you need to move put the knife back in its sheaf take 4 steps backward and get the knife back out to stand still with it again.

Resident Evil 5 is so fucking addicting
I went to my homies crib over on Mission to kick back and play some RE5. I got there at 8, left at 3 am. That shit is mad addicting on co-op. Best game I've played in a long time.
