Thanks, Reluhitivity. Nice shots to you too. Here are a couple of things that I snapped yesterday while walking to work.

That fire hydrant picture has some potential, indirect. You could try doing a little bit of editing: upping the saturation, a tad bit more contrast. I think it would look better.

Thanks Deemy. I really like the composition, but it came out a bit dull and overexposed. When I get home I'll mess with it on Photoshop.

Okay, edited a bit using a Picnik on Flickr. Which is better?

The second one is better. The vignetting makes you focus on the "popping out" object.

Jacob-the exposures iffy on a lot of those(backlit; blown out sky, underexposed foreground). The second and ones of the girl are nice, though. Here are some from me. I managed to get my hands on a copy of Canon utilities, so I made a panorama using Photostitch (first one ever...) and edited all those RAW files. They're looking pretty good now! All taken on a Canon 1dsmk3 with a 24-105mm lens, except the panorama which was taken on my D40 with the 18-55mm kit lens.

Oh, word. And are they overexposed? They look fine on this monitor, but it's a shitty laptop one...and yeah, I did post some of those before but I just got around to properly editing them.

My monitor is pretty good and it's corrected with a huey (i know, but it's better than nothing), and indirect's aren't over-exposed at all.

I will say some of you should tone down your colours and watch for clipping, particularly the previous page.
