SOPHNET. Celebrates Hingston Studio's 20th Anniversary With New Capsule
Reinterpreting iconic outerwear pieces.
Fresh from joining forces with Danner on a winter-ready boot capsule, SOPHNET. has now unveiled another collaborative project. For this capsule, the brand has joined forces with Hingston Studio – a creative agency based in London that has worked with musicians including Massive Attack and David Bowie – to celebrate the agency’s 20th anniversary.
The collection of outerwear sees the two brands put their twist on iconic pieces such as the MA-1 bomber jacket and the varsity jacket. All of the products are finished with vivid gradation on the internal linings, as well as cut-off patches that reference important British subcultures. The only non-outerwear piece in the collection is the long sleeve denim tip-bleached shirt.
The full collection is set to release on October 14, before making its way to the SOPHNET. web store two days later. Prices for the capsule range from ¥31,000 JPY (approx. $275 USD) for the shirt to ¥95,000 JPY (approx. $850 USD) for the “Stadium” jacket. As well as working with Hingston, SOPHNET. has also recently unveiled a luggage capsule with New Jersey’s TUMI.
