Dries Van Noten Celebrates 2016 Fall/Winter With Two New Books
Featuring contributions from English artist Gill Button.

Dries Van Noten‘s Fall/Winter 2016 release is right around the corner and, to celebrate, the renowned Belgian fashion designer has put together two brand new books ahead of the collection’s retail debut — one highlighting the men’s range, the other the women’s. While the men’s book serves as a straightforward recap of January’s Paris Opera Garnier-set runway show in France, the women’s book features collaborations with Gill Button throughout as the English artist applies her signature aesthetic to Van Noten’s looks, which were inspired by the ill-fated relationship between Italian author Gabriele D’Annunzio and heiress Marchesa Casati — who previously inspired collections by the likes of John Galliano, Alexander McQueen and Karl Lagerfeld — at the turn of the twentieth century.
Both books are available now via Van Noten’s flagships.
