Ex-Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz will reportedly work with Converse on a collaborative collection. According to sources, the storied fashion designer has designed a shoe for the Nike-owned brand, but for its Japanese market. The new shoe is slated for reveal early next year. Elbaz is credited with popularizing high-end luxury sneakers during his long 14-year tenure at Lanvin, until he was ousted in October 2015. The designer is known for his girly and romantic style.
