Vibrant animals and landscapes shot in 4K.
When it comes to nature documentaries, the one title that’s always referred to as one of the best is BBC’s Planet Earth, which came out about 10 years ago. Now BBC One is giving those who have been eagerly anticipating the sequel to the series some great news — it has just revealed a trailer for Planet Earth II with the upcoming installments still narrated by the iconic Sir David Attenborough. If you thought the earlier episodes were gorgeous, wait until you see the new ones come to life in vibrant colors through the use of 4K technology. Sadly, compared to the first release, the sequel will only have six episodes rather than 11. According to BBC’s Charlote Moore, “Filmed over three years across the globe with all the very latest technology, the series uncovers stories about the natural world we have simply never been able to witness before.”
