Versace Goes Space-Age for 2016 Fall/Winter Collection
Space Camp.
The name of the game for Donatella this season was “Space Camp.” The designer was inspired by sports and space, a theme that was so obviously communicated that models ran down the runway or donned metallic badges. The slicked back hair and silver outfits further solidified the theme. “I’m thinking of the future. This is the ultimate expression of the future: space,” says Versace. But amidst the zany and out-there (pun-intended) fits, the collection boasted many very wearable pieces. A shame that it’s all hidden beneath various layers of metal and things that not many men would rock. Regardless, it’s definitely worth it to check out the range of MA1 jackets, trench coats, rain coats and more.
