When the Apple iPhone 6s (as it’s likely to be called) debuts later this year, the design could usher in the addition of yet another colorway to Apple’s lineup: rose gold. According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new phone is likely to offer a new rose gold option, as well as upgrades like a change in materials, a 12-megapixel camera, and the addition of pressure-sensitive Force Touch input. It’s also been reported that the upgraded iPhone 6 could see the inclusion of an additional microphone to boost call quality while the Plus version may use sapphire glass screens for added scratch resistance — though those screens have yet to meet Apple’s drop test standards and get a green light for production.
