Don Cheadle makes his directorial debut with Miles Ahead, a biopic on legendary jazz musician Miles Davis. In this crowdfunded film, Cheadle stars as Davis and it will premiere at the New York Film Festival on Sunday. A first teaser for the film has emerged, showing Cheadle in a studio session with his band. The film also features Emayatzy Corinealdi as Davis’ first wife and Ewan McGregor as a reporter who helps the jazz musician attempt to recover a stolen tape of his music. Watch the teaser below.
