Just about a month ago Nike unveiled the first signature sneaker model for all-star point guard Kyrie Irving. During this press event in NYC, we caught our first glimpse at the “Deceptive Red” iteration, a colorway that is said to be a tribute to Irving’s phenomenal quickness and accelerated first step. Today, we present our own in-house look at the inaugural sneaker, from the jagged pattern inspired by the Sydney Opera House on its toe and heel counter, to its breathable Hyperfuse construction. The Nike Kyrie 1 “Deceptive Red” will be available around the world starting January 10.
