New Images of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Fortune Magazine’s latest issue offers us an exclusive closeup look at the updated Millennium

Fortune Magazine‘s latest issue offers us an exclusive closeup look at the updated Millennium Falcon set to feature in its latest issue, ahead of the December 2015 release date for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. As part of its cover story on Disney CEO Bob Iger, Fortune sought the help of Industrial Light & Magic’s visual effects art director for The Force Awakens, Yannick Dusseault, to provide a custom wireframe form rendering, combined with a layered “textured render.” The final rendering of the Millennium Falcon appears on the magazine’s cover, as well as the cover story’s opening photo of Iger leaning against a realistic rendering of the spaceship.
