Back in the latter part of June, Paris served as the home to this year’s Quai54 World Streetball Championship. Set in the French capital’s famed Trocadéro with the Eiffel Tower looming large in the background, the Nike- and Jordan Brand-hosted event saw appearances from the likes of Scottie Pippen and Carmelo Anthony while Mobb Deep, French Montana and Tyga all performed over this course of the weekend. Ultimately, French squad Hood Mix 2.0 was crowned as the tournament champ on its home turf as the dunk contest and 3-point shootout were won by Poland’s Rafal “Lipek” Lipinski and the UK’s Jermayne “Dookatello” Forbes, respectively.
