Continuing to expand on their knitwear expertise, burgeoning independent label Orley showcased its Fall/Winter 2014 collection at its first official presentation for New York Fashion Week. Leaning on knit patterning, the brand was able to execute nifty texture contrasts on sweaters, trousers, and polo shirts. Playing off of the color palette seen in its spring/summer arrangement, Orley used variations of heather khaki, burgundy and brown throughout the line, adding neutralizing colors like grey and navy to ground the collection for the season.
