Terminator Genisys Official Trailer

As promised by yesterday’s teasers, Paramount has released the first official trailer for the latest Terminator installment, Terminator Genisys. Set in the year 2029, Terminator Genisys sees John Connor (Jason Clarke) continuing to lead the resistance in the war against the machines. On the verge of winning the war against SpyNet in Los Angeles, Connor sends Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back in time to save his mother’s life and ensure his own existence. What Reese finds, however, is wholly unexpected: after being orphaned at the hands of a Terminator at just nine years of age, Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) has since been raised and protected by another Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and adamantly continues to reject her destiny.

Terminator Genisys is set to hit theaters July 1, 2015.
