This fall, Converse Japan collaborates with streetwear staple XLARGE for a footwear partnership in the shape of a brand new model: the XR991. With noticeable military fatigue influence, the sneaker is composed of navy suede and camouflage nylon mesh for the upper. Subtle details such as reflecting tape hit on the toes, both the medial and lateral sides, and the heel for superior visibility. Finally, the side heel details are inherited from the popular Auckland Racer model as the sneaker sits nicely on a clean white, marble and gray midsole with a hint of red. The XLARGE x Converse XR991 will release exclusively in Japan this December.
