Director Bryan Singer returns to the X-Men director’s chair for the first time since 2003’s X2 for the franchise’s seventh film, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Following the “Days of Future Past” storyline set forth by iconic comic book writers Chris Claremont and John Byrne for Uncanny X-Men in 1981, the film unites the ensemble casts of the original X-Men films and X-Men: First Class as the characters join forces with their younger selves to change the past in hopes of saving the future. Starring the likes of Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Shawn Ashmore, X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2014.
