Freegums x Nike LeBron 9

Miami-based artist Alvaro Ilizarbe, aka Freegums, was recently given the opportunity to collaborate with Nike on their LeBron 9 model. Drawing inspiration from his and LeBron’s current town, Freegums incorporated his characteristic black and white graphic patterns into the sneaker in a way that is both subtle and elegant. Details on the sneakers include hints of red, black and white, a mesh body, carbon-fiber support, and a pattern represented throughout toe portion as a texture rather than a contrast color. The Freegums x LeBron 9′s were released on December 31, and are available now at Nike retailers nationwide for $170 USD.
