I agree with all of u. I know first hand what a pompous asshole rick can be. He is definitely self absorded & annoying at times, but mainly I think it’s because he’s going through a mid-life crisis.

I remember seeing that Budd Dwer footage on the noontime local news in Philly minutes after it happened (they never showed the video after that – just the sounds). It really jolted me and a lot of other kids to the core on that snowy day. It’s really sad that it’s resurfacing after all of these years just to sell some tees.

@Neb. Freshjive has been around since the late eighties in a time when very few people were even thinking about streetwear. It’s been pretty much a mainstay in the industry for over twenty years and hasn’t stopped which deserves much props. How many of those brands like X-Large and Fuct can say that they’ve been around from the beginning of the streetwear craze? Now it’s become a monster bent on exclusivity and copying other styles instead of creating something original. As much as I’ve kind of scratched my head on the direction that Freshjive has taken design wise, I realize I’ve been rocking Freshjive since the 90s and rather than follow industry trends, they’ve decided to just flip the script and just throw some very controversial material at us. If anything, I think in doing that it kind of forces the nature of that brand into a very new direction. I respect the fact Rick and company are putting it out there like that. They still put out good clothes and cut & sew too.
