By not buying or lessening your purchase of American brands in this time of struggle don”t you think you may be contributing to the down fall of Streetwear brands in America.
I can name off the top of my head a number of Home Team brands that are up to par with Japans heavy hitters. Not to mention smaller brands with potential to succeed if it was not for this type of thinking. Kinda like leaving your fallen comrades really.

    UNION is the VOICE.
    CHRIS KNOWS.
I’d say Chris is more than just the buyer for UNION, he is a Curator.

This video format is the natural progression for HYPEBEAST. And it is only fitting that they chose UNION/CHRIS to premiere this new feature.

Congrats to all and a BIG thanks to Chris for what he does at UNION.

for the record, because this is something that I am very conscious of. I always give props to my mentors (James Jebbia, Mary Ann Fusco and Eddie Cruz). Without them there would be no Union and I am happily and humbly carrying the torch. Union NYC is closed now and a touchy subject that was avoided on purpose.

…on another note. some people just look for shit to hate on…it’s kind of funny. You had to really be reaching for that one. Next time go a little easier and just run jokes on how fat I am or my chappy lips.

big ups, I’ve been waiting for a interview like this for awhile. union is miles ahead of everyone else doing similar business right now. consistently the only spot I really look forward to visiting when I’m in LA. Gonna have to say what’s up when I’m out there this summer. Chris seems like a down to earth guy, I’m pretty sure he’s helped me out a couple times with NBHD denim and visvims back in the day. Gotta hype this on my blog.
