Meh. How many times are reebok going to rerelease the Pump? Collabing with 101 stores isn’t going to solve your problems.

This will sell, but only because there’s 30 pairs from each store. BUT is it going to make people want to wear the pump again? NO… Will there be a huge emergence of Pumps in the marketplace after this campaign, most probably. Will people buy them? Most probably not.

The model is nothing more than a visually amusing brick. Take a look what people are wearing out there, and what is it with the Adidas umbrella going back to the same stores for these drawn out collaborations?

I can see Reebok execs getting pumped up (pun intended) about the release of this, expecting it to solve all of their problems in the sneaker market, but guess what, it ain’t gonna do jack. You sunk all that money into this and have nothing more than a youtube video and a few blog write ups to show for it.

    Jus sayin’
