Supreme 2009 Fall/Winter Collection

Supreme pulls the covers off its 2009 fall/winter collection. Arguably one of, if not the most respected brands around, the skate-centric label brings together a collection featuring a strong collection of headwear, outerwear, t-shirts as well as increasingly more apparent footwear releases including a desert boot. Collaborations include Buck Knives, Bicycle Playing Cards, Hanes and Mickey Mouse. For release dates, the collection will hit stores Thursday, September 3rd in NY/LA, Saturday, September 5th in Japan and online on Thursday, September 10th at 11:00 am EST.

Comparing a company whose back catalog consists of horrible graphic tees and skateboard decks to a reputable clothing empire who have things called “runway shows” is obsurd. is their collection dope? yeah it looks cool but at the end of the day, my $79 oxford with a Pony still outweighs your $140 plaid with a red box. Supreme outsources a lot of their “cut and sew” garments. Comparing a brand with an actual design/production team is like comparing oil and water. If you’re going to talk a big fashion game, know what’s up before you put up. Want quality/respectable items with actual designers, look at 3sixteen if you’re still stuck in the streetwear realm of things.
