Styled by none other than Cassette Playa’s Carri Munden and photographed by Mark Le Bon, MHI continues on into 2010 with their spring/summer “Head Hunter” collection. A brand that is firmly entrenched in the British streetwear landscape, some of the pieces feature a strong graphic element. We look forward to a more comprehensive look as it becomes available.

I really need to know what happened because it really is the only thing going on in my life right about now.. i sure would love to hear that they are doing badly.. because I heard from a reliable source that everyone else in streetwear is doing so well…

I was in Harvey Nicks the other day and saw a whole load of newly released Maharishi stuff that was there. I’ve also seen a few bits and bobs around other stores, yet their actual Shop in Soho and Covent Garden is closed, both sites are gone too. So I’m not exactly sure what is going on.

And how you can think anything from their recent seasons compares to the stuff from the mid-90s is beyond me. The launch of MHI signaled the real decline of the brand.

well actually they did go bust and they’re flogging off all their stock – hence why everything in maharishistore is on sale. however, they are coming back in one form or another.
there is obviously new funding coming from somewhere which is good as they were showing signs of getting their act together.

in terms of this nonsense – far right what they should be doing, far left what they shouldn’t.

They haven’t gone bust, and JD haven’t bought them, as you can see they are still releasing product and their own online retail has started again (maharishistore).

How can you call they’re stuff shit, this stuff is fine, and the current season, with the illuminati stuff, is sick. A hell of alot more thought has gone into that compared to most other streetwear.

Will these press releases never end??!!!

Either open the fucking stores and get back to business or close down and shut up.

And the less Carri in the world the better.

the guy on the right is rockin those MHI forums so i guess this is all gonna be dropping soon. good to see MHI back from the grave but i don’t think it’ll last long if they jump on all this shit. although it might just be giving me a bad impression because they’re styled by the awful carri munden.

It’s probably a good thing they’re gone now, if this is the sort of shit they were going to release. For a brand that did so much right back in the early days, they sure lost any creative juice they once had.

Yeah, something isn’t right here – the press releases keep coming out but the label went bankrupt and JD Sports bought the name. What gives?
