In a largely unknown and secretive campaign from Asics, the Japanese brand via creative agency Amsterdam Worldwide & Freedom of Creation decided to do something a little interesting and unorthodox with their “Left and Right” campaign. Their stellar line of 80’s footwear embodied a “what’s a left, without a right” theme as ten personalities worldwide were each given a model kit. Breaking away the traditional model-like plastic structures, they were left with two mis-matched model leading them to find their other half to pair up their package. In the process they would transcend language and networks to complete the puzzle and find the other half to their figure.

I like the concept of what they’re doing, reminds me of building Zoids all over again. I just wish it wasn”t Left and Right mismatch stuff…….. I’m all for making money but this seems a little desperate.
