Here’s a look at an upcoming sneaker collaboration between Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER and NIGO®’s A Bathing Ape. These were made exclusively for the NOWHERE store at Dover Street Market in London and thus it has the Nowhere label on the toe box of the shoe. Look for these to be released very soon.

    oh nigo, i just can’t figure out which “design” is more “genius”, the air force 1, the super star or the jack purcell. purrrrreeee genius.

    for all of you above, first of all, bape did not design this shoe, it is actually a shoe designed by undercover, with the collaboration being the addition of the monogram. Furthermore, the premise of bape as a brand itself is a reinterpretation, or humorous caricature of established goods (i.e. bapestas:air force 1, skullstas: adishelltoe). Designing their “own” shoes would, by de facto, destroy this premise. Hence, sneakers such as the “88″ can be considered flops in that they did not sell very well.
