First of all, everyone should take a step back and reevaluate what exactly they are looking for in a shoe.

First and foremost this shoe is designed for skateboarding, you cant argue that.

If you need a hype-beasting hipster flashy ass shoe to make yourself stand out, then buy some fucking neon bapes and quit bitching already.

Once you can understand that these shoes are made for skateboarding, you are able to understand that these shoes are being marketed to people who ride skateboards. people who stick to the roots and heritage behind skate culture, which does come from the 70′s and 80′s and 90′s where skateboarding was raw and you would skate JORDANS because there were NO skate shoes.

Who come correct with a form follows function attitude, because in the end, your shoes are going to get completely destroyed. But in the time that you have them, you would like them to look fresh. Theres a difference between a shoe that looks fresh that you can wear with anything than what you seem to be looking for, you want bright ass, uber flashy, look-at-me im head to toe hipster- rocking shoes. We want classic skate shoes, with calssic styles that wont make you look like a d-bag.

Nike SB. is on point. If you dont like it, dont rock it.

I’m pretty sure dunks which were originally basketball shoes that evolved into sb dunks. Jeans were work wear before some strapping young man decided to wear them as fashion. Baseball caps are designed to protect the professional baseball player from the sun as they play. Yet today the baseball cap have evolved into a fashionable addition to an outfit. If everybody did things the way things were supposed to be done streetwear wouldn’t even exist. We wouldn’t even be human. i like it. as a kid from the 80′s, that shoe does seem very nostalgic (like the shimizu’s). add some forest green on that, and you have voltrons.
