Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Blue Lobster”

Following upon the earlier announcement that Nike SB was set to release another version of their Lobster Dunk Low, we get a closer look into the project which involves the design direction from Boston’s Concepts. This rarer species will be the second “Lobster”, shipped and promoted by the “Concepts Fishing Company”. Priced at $250.00 USD, the actual Blue Lobster sneaker will be bagged, tagged and sealed in a HAZMAT foam container. Each pair will be joined by an official Nike SB tee shirt, hang tag and lace lock. The first 200 pairs will come with 1 of 2 Concepts x Alien Workshop skate decks.

A release is scheduled for Saturday June 20, 2009 (11:00am) at Concepts. As well , raffle tickets will be sold for $10 each for a drawing of the original 2008 Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Red Lobster” with the winner chosen following the “Blue Lobster” release that day.

    Fuck Concepts not even a real store anymore they arent even a real skate shop to be honest there arent even real ppl that work there. Its all about other spots in boston but the real places are closing down. Dont go buy these

    stop whining about the 250….
    if you don’t want to pay that much, wait until they drop in late july or august as a normal release
    the reason they cost 250 is because of all the extra goodies, and the fact that camping out in Cambridge is a party….and that they have a party boat after the release….

    they are nice, but SBS are done!!!! the collecting phase for sbs, the height ended sadly after tiffs, way way way too much hype but an amazing shoe, Than crimsons, than Crap, than More Crap!!!

    These shoes look sick but i dont see people rocking sbs anymore like the used to.

    Maybe koston will help, and Undefeated never did a dunk sb which was surprising

    I am happy that FC’s are back!!!!!!!

    DOES EVERYONE KNOW THAT SBs ARE NO LONGER LIMITED? YOU PROB WONT BE ABLE TO GET THEM IN THE CITY’s CAUSE ALL SHOPS GET A CERTAIN AMONT OF PAIRS BUT YOU CAN GET THEM. THEY USUALLY PRODUCT MINIMUM OF 5000 PAIRS OF DUNKS EACH STYLE.

    So these are the much hyped about “Blue Lobsters” personally I think they look pretty sick and I would deffenetly purchase a pair, but there will no doubt be a few here on Hypebeast who are not satisfied. Are they going to be shipped around the country or only in Boston?
