I was thinking about getting this phone, but now im leaning towards the Nokia N97. It just seems the N97 is alot more exclusive, it has some nicer features and its unlocked good to me because i might change carrier soon. Yea it does cost alot more but like the saying goes “you get what you paid for”.

The new Palm Pre looks like its a winner over the iPhone, now they need to just market it more…

people need to stop hating on the iphone in here, this thing can do more then any other phone ive seen and seamless with your computer if your a mac owner. and the comment about this phone needing a flash, the camera on this is so good and clear it doesnt need some shitty flash ruining photos.

  14. Posted by: Bsie on June 9, 2009 at 8:56 am

The price is good, the white one looks sick, but still need to offer it to other carriers cause ATT plans suck!

i couldn’t live without my iPhone, will be getting this the day of release…..price dont bother me

    Apple run tings

i wouldn’t be seen dead with a Blackberry…….LOL they still have buttons!!

Although I adore Apple’s products, I personally think they are quite late with these so called ‘new features’. Recording videos, turn-by-turn navigation, 3MP camera, voice control are already common.

No thanks Apple, I’ll stick to my Blackberry!

  17. Posted by: Starscr3am on June 9, 2009 at 3:18 am

LOL @ people that think iPhone has no Flash! SMH!

  18. Posted by: BonG on June 9, 2009 at 2:22 am

clearly, all of you just look at specs and determine from that if it’s a good phone or not, but there is way more to it, if you watch the WWDC, i guarantee it will amaze all of you. the new iphone OS 3.0 has enable so much opportunity for developer in producing useful apps for every day life.

IT IS JUST AMAZING. Watch the WWDC

and you will understand why i say this.

Although that shit should be mandatory, it is on other phones. The almighty Apple shouldnt get a pass.

  20. Posted by: Kev-O on June 9, 2009 at 1:51 am

blackberry’s shit on iphones in phone competition…just get a regular tough ipod dont need that thing to make calls….plus service sucks and too much to maintain… if you lose it you lose your ipod NAD phone…better stick to the blackberry’s, their sick

  21. Posted by: wicked on June 8, 2009 at 11:20 pm

    i’m sticking to my crackberry..

  22. Posted by: SWITCH™ on June 8, 2009 at 11:05 pm

I’m not buying an Iphone ’til they let other carriers in.

^^^ cosign. what’s the deal with that anyway? i’ll just get an ipod touch, and buy the apps. blackberry 4 life haha

  23. Posted by: damian on June 8, 2009 at 11:02 pm

My LG Dare is 100x better than the iphone. its all hype, They can make a hundred new versions but Verizon is the best for service area and plans. (NYC area)

  24. Posted by: boyscout on June 8, 2009 at 10:55 pm

Who the hell uses a compass? Idiots still get lost nowadays with google maps and gps. That feature’s going to be useless to 85% of the world’s population.

  25. Posted by: CT on June 8, 2009 at 10:04 pm

DAMN!!!!! Can’t wait, I hope the Dev team unlocks this iphone quick so I can buy it and get rid of my old iphone 2g. I NEED to be able to send and receive pics and videos

    $299 (gotta get the 32GB)+$100 a month x 12months = $1499.00 a Year for an iphone. F THAT.

  28. Posted by: sneakerazzi on June 8, 2009 at 9:30 pm

man im still undecided on whts the difference btwn iphones…i want 1 but damn…next year they might have a brand new model that make mine obsolete…then att is so high priced on plans…its damn near a lose lose

There were definitely concept shots going around the internet of the new iPhone with a matte case – if you’d have looked at almost any site reporting on the iPhone you’d have seen them. Probably faked, but they were out there nontheless.

    A Savvy –
No mobile at this point has flash, not fully functional anyway. There probably won’t be any phones with flash 10 support until next year at least. Adobe just needs to not be so sloppy with the coding on flash so that it’s not such a resource hog. They have said that they don’t plan on making a version for Apple or RIM, which is pretty weak.
My reception’s fine, never really had issues with it. I often get signal where others don’t.

  30. Posted by: A Savvy on June 8, 2009 at 7:28 pm

I wouldn’t give AT&T the lint in my pockets let alone $99. I get better reception on my tin can than my friend does on his Iphone. Btw, how the hell you gonna have a $199 phone that doesn’t have a flash?! It’s 2009! I love my MacBook Pro & my Ipod, but I’m not buying an Iphone ’til they let other carriers in.

  31. Posted by: cyn on June 8, 2009 at 7:25 pm

very nice phone but service suck always drop calls and no service.

  32. Posted by: 666 on June 8, 2009 at 7:09 pm

    vik

there never was, has been, or even concepts of a matte finish on the iphone.
you must be seeing it with the matte black incase protector or something but the actual finish of the body has never been matte.

this is by far the best version of the iphone – 32gb, decent camera, video, voice, etc. I’ll definitely try to pick one up and you’re aren’t being gouged with the price.
