In my opinion.
Ok to all the people that say Kanye can’t or design based offa sketches you are stupid as hell. Anyone who knows or has participated in any type of fashion design knows that u layer on the details the colors everything has to look flat and nice. It is fantastic design work but not fantastic designs look like some create recreations to me. Also on the whole coloring with shades deal any artist worth his pencil knows what colors are what end of story
I’m not a kanye west hater…But I just don’t understand why everyone jumps on his trends (or even considers him a trend setter). As far as I am conscerned he just bites styles that are already popular and then try to convince the public he started them. For example, when he first came on the scene he dressed like a clown, (literally a circus clown). Then when fasion went the more conservative clean route ie. now. He started dressing that way, and I’m sure claims he pioneered it. Trust me, if I had Kanye’s money I could be a fasion icon too (and anyone else for that matter.)
P.S. These shoes suck under the LV brand. If they had to colaborate they should have come up with something Common Projects-esque, NOT “Glow In the Dark Tour 09-esque.”

louis vuitton made a huge mistake getting involved with kanye west. People that are fond of kanye west are hypebeast and kids who either can’t afford LV or rather spend the money on SBs or jordans. The regular LV customers (or good 90% of them) all thinks kanye west is a clown and wouldn’t even give the time of the day to even look at his shit. LV needs to understand that its potential market is limited to older women and young fashion individuals who buys brands like common projects, comme des garcons, dior homme and ect. these people doesn’t give a shit about what kanye west has to offer. he’s a musician, not a fuking fashion designer. looking at his sketches, reebok did that 4 years ago so good luck with that garbage.

I drew better sketches in high school, and I’m sure a lot of kids out there reading this now could too- but none of us have deals with LV. If you go back to when I first heard about this website, which I’m sure most of you are familiar with, NT, you’ll find designs that are N times more inspiring than what Kanye’s got lined up. For real, 15 year old’s have more talent than Kanye on the design front. http://www.nike.com/futuresole/winners.jsp Not to hate on what Kanye’s doing, I mean, who doesn’t want to one day get filthy rich by design $700 shoes for a living, but try to come up with something a little more inspiring. I think all his colaboration are sick, and this one will be no different. Kanye is a really talented artist, and I’m talking outside of the music business. I remember seeing this MTV interview a while back,right before his first Cd dropped; and it was held in a space surrounded by a lot of his drawings, and some paintings, and I remember thinking, as a fellow artist, WOW!
