Taking distressed denim to another level, Levi’s release a new colorway in their 501XX 1947 denim. The jeans take on an “aging” process with custom distressed detailing upon a “Sun Fade Blue” backdrop which almost resembles acid wash denim. With a price tag of ¥32,550 (Approx. $323 USD) they are now available in limited quantities via the Levi’s Japan webstore.

i think any pair of jeans after a week of camping and not changing your jeans plus sitting in the mud should give a similar feel

Wow, talk about taking all the fun out of doing the work yourself.

Save yourself the cash, guys. Grab a pair of Dry Bones or Flatheads and just wear them all day, every day, and get your own lifestyle imprinted on them instead of some pseudo-cowboy action.

P.S. Some fashion trends of the ’80s was cool, but acid washed denim definitely wasn’t. It should stay there! ^_~
