José Parlá and Hong Kong’s Ooi Botos Gallery will present the works of popular American artist next month. The “Reading Through Seeing” exhibition is based on some of Parlá’s most colorful works in his trademark multi-texture and layer aesthetic. In recent trips to Japan and his exposure to potteryhave worked their way into the exhibit as well via traditional Japanese techniques. The exhibit begins May 14th and runs until July 11th at the Ooi Botos Gallery.
