Obscure tends to be more of a normal occurrence for Japanese brand Phenomenon, who hit us with a peek into their 2009 Spring/Summer goods. As expected, the lineup is comprised of vibrant colors mashed with interesting patterns, unusual cuts and intentionally unconventional design methods. Certainly not for the average streetwear aficionado, this latest selection of product presents flamboyance at its pinnacle, sprinkled with a bit of sportswear and loungewear inspiration.

    Looks like more structured, colorful Japanese streetware. I don’t think that this’d be that out of place in Shibuya, but it’d be a little more difficult to pull off in the west…

    interesting…..but I could make this stuff at home lol, I see only 2 things I like, but the rest looks a bit tacky, the mix matching makes it worse.

    Phenomenon is big in japan…anyone that has style knows that you aint gonna rock this clothing line on the street exactly like the catalog….that is the point…. its showing you the different colors and cuts that it is releasing for this season…its up to YOU if you have your own sense of style to wear like YOU would….theres a lot of ignorant people out there that just don’t understand what style or fashion is about….they expect the brands to style you cause they don’t have their own style.To me i see “OLYMPICS ON A ANOTHER PLANET” theme and that is truly PHENOMENAL…im coppin Peace
