Brooklyn-based Eric Elms is making early headlines in the new year with an interesting collaboration alongside Vans. The heralded artist has designed a pack of kicks along with two t-shirt designs for the famous California based footwear company. Two models feature what looks to be either suede or velvet uppers with a third pair coming in a black canvas colorway in a new hybrid sneaker of sorts. The collection is expected to hit retailers in July 2009, so stay tuned in the coming months for further updates.

    very nice, hopefully not too expensive. if so i’ll wait around for them to drop in price a little. that’s if they aren’t extra extra limited
