This past Saturday saw the release of these new items from Japanese streetwear label, A Bathing Ape. New from their 2009 Spring/Summer collection range from their multi-colored camo jackets to more subtle pieces such as their knitwear. You’ll also find some new tees as well as some nice accessories including this Bape buckle leather belt. Look for these products at Bape stores worldwide.

    As much as I love bape…I can’t do the hoodies and shit anymore. Too much into Ed Hardy and all that shit now. Ima still rock the kicks forever and 2 days from now…but as for the rest of the stuff…It’ll mostly be BAPE jeans and thats it my ninja. I feel like I’m 2 grown for that shit now…lol

    okay i checked out bape on wikipedia, and thanks for the link but it just told me everything i already know. i do credit them with helping kick off this new wave of streetwear designers and culture but then i have to discredit them because while some of their gear is nice, the best pieces are complete design rips (chucks, af1′s, northface, etc.) and then the prices are ridiculous. waffle kicks for 169? i need to go by their factory and see the process their gear goes through from start to finish and try to get some justification for these prices. i mean are we buying bape because it’s worth it and the designs are really that unique, original, and innovative or has it just become a status piece? somebody help me understand.

    the stuff is okay but do they really expect us to pay 200 plus for crew necks and zip hoodies and all it has is a little bape logo i mean u think for money we spend we would get more than a little logo patch the color camo jackets are sick but they are deff gonna be 600 plus so i mean come on bape gives us some sick designs on our hoodies

    most of this is either patterned shit or things you can get at american apparel/anywhere with a bape logo. i don’t think it’s really bape’s fault for making the same shit over and over again, it’s the consumer’s fault because they keep on buying it.
