Already the choice of protection for many, Incase’s line of accessories and protective cases has just unveiled an innovative and much needed addition to the popular 3G iPhone. The Power Slider features a supplementary battery function that will not only double the current iPhone 3G battery life but also provide integrated sync/charging and serve as protection for the device. A special engineering approach ensured an ultra slim design could yield sufficient power without an unreasonable amount of bulk. Energy needs relies on the Power Slider first and foremost and only switches to the internal battery once the Power Slider has been exhausted. With a great deal of multimedia and entertainment functions on the iPhone, the Power Slider offers a great compromise of slightly added bulk in exchange for two times the battery life. For technical specs, the use of the Power Slider provides ~330 hours of standby time, ~26 hours of audio playback, ~5/10 hours on 3G/2G networks, ~7 hours of video playback and ~5/6hours of internet use on 3G/Wi-Fi networks. The Power Slider will be available starting this holiday season at both Apple.com and GoIncase.com.
