comme des garcons nike dunk high 2008 1 COMME des GARCONS x Nike Dunk High

COMME des GARCONS and Nike prepare for another collaboration on the Dunk High. The visual integrity of the Dunk High is largely changed as the traditional basketball silhouette of the Dunk undergoes a more boot-like profile. The dramatic rise of the toebox and the black leather upper with a large zipper up the center is an appropriate approach for the Japanese brand who has been the subject of much fanfare for their avant grade and innovative styles. The back of the Dunk does offer a glimpse of its former self with the recognizable heel lines and center seam. No word yet on availability.

Actually, looking at them again, I might buy a pair and cut the toe box off, I reckon Chris is right and you would find the real dunk underneath. lmao

I could go for these if it weren’t for that toe box.

commes des garcon was cool 10 years ago. now they are branching out to H&M which is a good move for them.

I just don’t understand how the designers looked at these sneakers and said “Aight cool.” How is it possible for anyone to think these would sell. This def. isn’t for the urban market.

COMME des GARcons is great. i even own a pair of their loafers, but this is straight awful. who thinks this isn’t whack? they made a pattern, attached a big zipper and sewed over some premium black out highs, you can even tell that its just sewed over the original shoe. how am i supposed to appreciate something if the people designing it took the easiest way out?
