Atmos x Puma Endangered Species Pack
Taking a theme literally and running with it is probably the best way to describe Atmos’ latest sneaker collaboration with Puma. Three endangered species from the snowy wastelands of the Arctic and Antarctic are portrayed through the eyes of Puma’s vintage model, the Clyde as well as a lesser seen model, Mid. The pack of animal-based sneakers grabs its inspiration largely from wildlife photographer Mitsuaki Iwago (of National Geographic) and photos accumulated over the years. The pack, aside from pushing the envelope for sneaker themes was created to bring awareness to the dire wildlife preservation situation. The three animals chosen as inspirations include the Harp Seal Clyde, Polar Bear Clyde and Macaroni Penguin Mid (frills seen around the ankle).
