Polestar Reworks the Polestar 6 for Experimental Concept Car
Polestar CEO says the Concept BST is the Polestar 6 “turned up to 11.”
At the latest Goodwood Festival of Speed in Sussex, England, Polestar’s main lineup was accompanied by one expected vehicle, the Polestar Concept BST. For its third concept car, the Swedish brand has introduced a few unique flairs for a special edition of the Polestar 6.
While the Polestar 6 is officially expected to launch in 2026, the Polestar Concept BST is billed as not a production car but rather a “design study of the extreme” – BST, for starters, doesn’t refer to the timezone but is actually a shortened version of “Beast.” The concept arrives in a classic silver shade and comes adorned with the letters “BST” printed across the side.
The front features a black splitter, while the rear boasts Polestar’s first rear wing, giving it a powerful but sporty look. Rounding out the two-seater are 22-inch alloy wheels and a rear diffuser to reduce drag.
Polestar unveiled its first concept car in 2020 based off of the Polestar 2. Parked in the driveway of the company’s headquarters, employees began referring to it as the “Beast,” minting the name for the Polestar 2 BST edition 270 and the brand’s greater concept line.
