Graphpaper Goes Grey for Fall/Winter 2024
The collection is inspired by the work of British artist Alan Charlton.
If grey is your color, Graphpaper has the collection for you. Founded by Japanese designer and creative director, Takayuki Minami, who also runs the label FreshService, the upcoming Fall/Winter 2024 collection is filled with various shades of grey across mens and womenswear, as well as street-inspired outerwear and knitted garments.
Aptly titled Shades of Grey, the collection is notably inspired by the geometric grey paintings of British artist Alan Charlton, a method for communication that he believed to be “abstract, direct, urban, basic, modest, pure, simple, silent, honest, absolute.”
Revered for their elegant and slightly oversized take on workwear, Graphpaper introduces a suite of new outwear silhouettes, from puffer jackets and trench coats, utility blousons and velour track jackets, to sherpa lined jackets and more. While various tones of grey are the dominant color choice, rust orange, highlighter yellow and black appear throughout as well.
Expect Graphpaper’s FW24 collection to release online and at select Japanese retailers in the coming weeks.
