LUCKI Is a True Gemini on '2 Faced, Pt. 2'
Revealing his ‘GEMIN!’ album is coming soon.
After unleashing his 2 Faced two-pack EP back in January, LUCKI has delivered the follow-up: 2 Faced, Pt. 2. Stacked with two contrastingly textured tracks “Heavy On My Heart” and “Courtesy Of,” the project arrives in tandem with the rapper’s official announcement for his next studio album entitled GEMIN!.
The Chicago rapper, who has been hinting at the project on socials for a little while now, dropped off the two-part trailer for GEMIN!, which continues to lean into the two-sided nature of the Gemini. Entitled “2 FacedSlatt :(” and “2 FacedSlatt :),” LUCKI leads both of the visuals, with each featuring a different side of the “two-faced” rapper.
The storyline remains the same in each two-minute clip: someone indebted to LUCKI is brought before the rapper himself during a dinner.
“People that don’t pay their debts not even really worth nothin’ nowadays. Get this dude the f*ck outta here,” he reacts in one, whereas in the other, he takes a more aggressive “you gotta pay your bills on time” approach – each of which leads to a very different outcome for the debtor.
