Collaboration season at Supreme is in full force. Coming off of its most recent one with The North Face for the Spring 2024, the versatile outwear-focused collaboration is now succeeded by another to add to the current season. Joining forces with Toy Machine, the latest capsule is a skate-centric one. Toy Machine was established in 1993 by Ed Templeton, artist and professional skateboarder hailing from Huntington Beach, California. Templeton had a background in skateboarding long before the brand, having skated with New Deal in 1990 and 1992.

Since its conception, Toy Machine has been an influential voice in skateboarding, known for its satiric critique. Til this day, Templeton is very involved in the brand, creating all of the company’s artwork including some of its most iconic and memorable characters — the sect, monster and devil cat. These same characters are seen throughout the collaboration with Supreme, especially the classic monster. Toy machine released its debut video “Live!” in 1994 which led Templeton to recruit Jamie Thomas, Brian Anderson, Elissa Steamer, Donny Barley, Mike Maldonado and Chad Muska. Together, they worked on Welcome to Hell in 1996, which has later become one of the most influential skateboarding videos that span across generations. As a nod to the video’s impact, which has long been regarded as a pinpoint in time and space for bridging creativity with the art of skateboarding, the collection also features a selection of pieces that feature the archive video poster.

The Supreme x Toy Machine Spring 2024 brings Toy Machine’s impact to focus giving them their flowers for their influence in the skate community. Throughout the collection, the brand’s most iconic motifs are seen across Supreme’s wardrobe staples which consist of a Faux Leather Vest, Harrington Jacket, Sweater, Work Pant, three T-Shirts, 5-Panel, Belt, Skateboard and JBL® Clip Speaker.

The Supreme x Toy Machine Spring 2024 collaboration will see a global release via the streetwear imprint March 7, 11 a.m. EDT in the United States and March 9, 11 a.m. JST in Japan and Seoul.
