XLARGE is a prominent Los Angeles-based streetwear label, that is widely distributed in Hong Kong and Japan. Founded by Eli Bonerz and Adam Silverman in 1991, XLARGE was informed by diverse trends of skateboarding, rave, hip-hop, jazz funk, and the club scene. Along with selling the likes of Ben Davis, Carhartt, and vintage adidas and PUMA sneakers, XLARGE also sold its in-house line, which began with T-shirts printed with the brand’s now-iconic gorilla logo.
