Public School 2008 Spring/Summer Collection

For fledging brand Public School’s, its founding teachers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne set out to create a movement through their self-inspired need to educate people on a culture they helped build. Their collection bases itself off of fashion’s ability to bring together inspirations far and wide to create something meaningful and powerful. Their black apple with feather quill logo alludes to both New York’s iconic apple symbol as well as a journey towards knowledge. Their debut 2008 Spring/Summer collection incorporates New York relevant themes such as 1970s gang couture in a decidedly more refined style than the subject matter would suggest.
