Originally debuting earlier this year, New York’s Public School aimed to capture the true essence of the “rotten apple” with a dark theme. The debut collection relied heavily on leather pieces and garments which featured multiple looks such as transformations from jackets to vests etc. Led by seasoned veterans, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, their 2008 fall/winter collection is a continuation of the brand’s philosophy as we see a strong proliferation of black with various detailings to really make accentuate the garments.
