From SiLLY THiNG’s new publishing department comes their first SiLLY THiNG book which was done in conjunction with the brand, Maison Martin Margiela. There currently isn’t much details on this interesting project but the book goes on sale today at most major book stores in Hong Kong. If you happen to have access to a bookstore in Hong Kong, do check out this new book.
Sensational English pop artist Damien Hirst will exhibit two new original art pieces this April 3rd at Fred Segal Man. Other contributors to the events overall atmosphere include Warhol Factory and legendary denim makers Levi’s. The Warhol-ian factor includes the use of trademark style of colors applied to not only the installations but special denim as well.

With the unfortunate news that Footpatrol has elected not to renew their lease, size? continues to carry the torch as one of the UK’s premier sneaker destinations. Their periodical broadsheet has reached issue 4 with online capabilities. Check out the magazine as it does a round up of size? staff as well as a Wimbledon x Lacoste contest.
Communication agency W+K has time and time again reinvented methods and innovations in the world of communicating thoughts and dreams. Their high profile list of clients are a testament to their skills and ingenuity. To celebrate their Shanghai office’s second year of existence, a collaborative effort took place with artist Perk on a series of figures and books, each with their own unique design. W+K Executive Creative Director, John Jay feels that W+K Shanghai is perhaps the best embodiment of the companies virtues of staying ahead of the pack as it aims to challenge and reinvent along its progressions in the shaping of China.
Evan Hecox is represented to the fullest in art magazine Arkitip’s No. 0045. The issue highlights Hecox methods and reference photos from trips to Mexico. Other editorials include Studio von Birken/Ben Pogue, Tony Arcabascio, Nieves, C.R. Stecyk III, Frank Novak and Joshua Gregory. 10.Deep and Boogie have teamed to help promote Boogie’s upcoming self-titled book, Boogie. The whole project encompasses an exclusive t-shirt and fanzine. The pack will be available at an upcoming event at the powerHouse Arena to celebrate the release of the book. The tee and fanzine will be available together alongside signed copies of Boogie’s book on Thursday, March 20th. The tee/zine will subsequently be available for sale online on Monday, March 24th.

Every season, brands in Japan including Stussy, Supreme and Neighborhood would put out their collection catalogs which a lot of people actually buy because you get to see what’s coming from the brand as well as read about interviews about the designers behind the brand. The latest to be released is the WTAPS 2008 Spring/Summer “Extreme Prejudice” catalog which is now available at official WTAPS dealers. They are limited so if you’re a fan of WTAPS, get them now before they’re gone.
Paul Mittleman, the creative director of Stussy, has posted some images of the Stussy Spring/Summer 2008 catalog where you can find an article about an upcoming project with Neighborhood called “Boneyards”. Unfortunately we haven’t gotten our hands on the Stussy catalog yet so we don’t know what it is about so until then, check out these pictures.
Steve Powers commonly known around other circles as ESPO has released an all new Handy Signs print. The 24 x 30 in print will cost you $250, but offers fans reasonable means of attaining a piece of art from one of the living legends. News has run rampant regarding the upcoming Hoods Hong Kong store opening next month in Hong Kong. Honeyee Mag Vol. 4 will cover the reasoning behind Neighborhood/WTAPS and their choosing of Hong Kong relative to other big cities.
