The long-awaited and highly anticipated shoe, Pedro Winter x AFI, was finally released in Paris at Colette this morning. With the growth of sneaker culture around the world and the wide-spread power of the media, many hardcore sneaker fans camped out faithfully for this launch to add to their collection, while others may see this simply as an investment opportunity. These Air Force Ones are ultra-exclusive since there were only 200 made worldwide. It features a rainbow colored bottom sole with hand written lettering all over the shoe. Originally revealed a few months back, a special Air Force 1 was in the works with the multi-talented Busy P aka Pedro Winter of Ed Banger. With no release date in sight and talks of the project being scrapped, the colorful Up Town resurfaced a few weeks back, making its way into a special video installations at the launch of Nike Sportswear in Beijing. Featuring strong written visuals all over, news has broke regarding the shoe’s release. On June 16th, the Air Force 1 will release exclusively at Paris’ colette with a suggested price of €200 EUR (approximately $311 USD).
