Jeff Koons’ popular sculptures have found a new temporary home atop New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art at the Cantor Roof Garden. The three piece exhibition includes “Coloring Book”, “Sarcred Heart” and “Balloon Dog”, bearing strong familiarity with some of his previous aesthetic styles. The exhibition will run through until October 26th.

Jeff Koons’ announced solo exhibitions for 2008 will see the heralded and controversial artist open shows in Chicago, New York and Versailles later this year. The artist best known for his kitsch style should provide some interesting and provocative sculptures and paintings starting off April 29th of next month at “Jeff Koons on the Roof”. Aside from the debut at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, other shows include “Jeff Koons” at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art (May 31st – September 21st) and “Jeff Koons” at the Chateau de Versailles (Septemeber).
