Here are some sneak pictures of a Nike SB P-Rod 2 (Paul Rodriguez Pro model) sample designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara. The highlights are the rainbow colors on the heel detail and the small fragment logo on the tongue. The premium P-Rod 2 has a gucci style monogram pattern that was seen on the contrasts of the P-Rod 1 as well. The tongue adorns Fujiwara’s signature in addition to Fragment Design’s lightening bolts, so if this does come out to the general public, expect there to be line-ups.

Hiroshi Fujiwara, the godfather of streetwear, has just recently visited the Nike Campus in Beaverton, Oregon, for the Nike Beijing 08 Innovation Summit. The event showcased upcoming releases including the much anticipated Hyperdunks. While there, it seems that HF had a lot of fun touring the campus and rock climbing, an activity that probably only Nike has at their headquarters. But of course he wouldn’t go without meeting with Nike President and CEO, Mark Parker, discussing unrevealed shoes. It seems that HF was also able to do an interview with Nike’s Global Creative Director, Richard Clarke. Check out all the pictures and the interview at Honeyee.
Hiroshi Fujiwara has posted up a video of his performance from last year’s FIL 1st Anniversary celebration which also include DSK and Ino Hidefumi. The video as well as mp3’s of the performance are now available on iTunes Japan. Aside from HF’s well known ability to design, he doesn’t seem out of place with a guitar albeit in a style that is outside the realm of most readers.
Since 2002 toy-makers adFunture has given the opportunity to the world’s creatives as they set forth in producing art and design in three dimensional art form. Amongst their creations is a figure of Hiroshi Fujiwara featuring attire relating to some of HF’s most pronounced accomplishments including HF x Staple 10th Anniversary T-shirt, Fenom Denim, Nike Air Force 1 HTM Fragment Design sneakers and on the fashion front, his trademark Kangol.

Following suit of the “Michael”, “Naomi”, and “Kiyonaga”, Stussy now brings you the “Hiroshi” as in marketing monster Hiroshi Fujiwara. As one would expect, the details are small with high impact. Simplicity is key with everything involving HF and its the small details that always count. They will be available first at Stussy Japan’s stores on the 19th then Honeyee’s online store the 21st of April.
Something hinted to earlier in the Stussy 2008 Spring Catalog was an upcoming collabo with Hiroshi Fujiwara.
