Huf x Vans Collaboration in the Works?

It looks like the San Francisco based skate shop, HUF, is currently working with footwear makers, Vans, for a new collaboration. Unfortunately there isn’t that much information other than the fact that they have chosen the Vans Chukka model for the collaboration sneaker and that there will also be a matching New Era 59Fifty Fitted Cap to go along side the shoes. Upper Playground x New Era 59Fifty Fitted Cap 2008 February Releases

Upper Playground has prepped a new set of caps to release this month. Fans of designers and graffiti artists Sam Flores (of 12Grain), Greg “Craola” Simkins and Saber (creator of the world’s largest mural) are each treated to fitted caps bearing some of their marquee designs. The caps will release at flagship Upper Playground stores and online at Upper Playground.

DC Comics x New Era 59Fifty Fitted Cap

Last year saw a collaboration between Marvel and New Era. This year the attention turns to DC Comics as they release their own series of New Era 59Fifty fitted caps. These caps are a more subtle approach to the comic book meets New Era project, with single logos forming the highlight of each hat. Four styles feature Batman, the Riddler, Cat Woman and Superman. These are set to release March 15th at European New Era outlets.

Reason recently dropped some previews this week with their New Era 59Fifty fitted caps. Three hats were released including designs inspired by a python snake which features glow in the dark eyes as well as and a back embroidered logo; a leather cap featuring black leather with silver embroidered writing across the side; and a script style hat, with Reason 3D wrapping around the length of the hat. Jeff Staple, the man behind the infamous Pigeon Dunks, has released some pictures of some Staple New Era 59Fifty Fitted Caps on his blog.
